Bought Marvel Cosmic Invasion to play with my kids since we had so much fun with Streets of Rage 4, and initially it started out really fun. But man the difficulty spikes up hard in the mid-game and now we're stuck, really sucks that there's not even any difficulty options. Should have waited on this one for a patch or mod to make it easier
Have you tried out Absolum? I've heard nothing but good things about it and it's done by the SoR4 team.

I've got that one to 100% in Steam, amazing game. It's quite the disappointing downgrade going from that to Cosmic Invasion actually, Absolum is the deepest beat-em-up ever made with so many build possibilities to keep things fresh. MCI is too faithful to the old Marvel arcade games to a fault, it gets old really quick with no progression for any characters and the same enemies recycling over and over with different color palettes

He was easy, we got stuck on Silver Surfer. Most annoying boss to fight with his flying and diving moves, large AOE puddles, and you have to beat that ####### 3 times. Kids weren't having fun anymore and I don't have the patience to grind it out by myself so the game is shelved. We went back to playing Streets of Rage 4, they still love that one

I've been playing Ghost of Yotei since release in summer, can tell I'm near the end. Just looking at visual settings and realized I never had 4K on this entire time..suddenly it looks like a whole new game, with WAY better graphics, and I'm at the very end lol. Better late than never I guess!

Way, way behind the times, but I've started Mass Effect Legendary Edition (skipped 1 after the gameplay felt super clunky to me, watched a video summary instead) and now into Mass Effect 2 and super enjoying it. How did I not play this when it came out?

Finaally beat Takezo in Yotei. It only took 200 tries. I looked up which armour and charms to use, I watched a few videos on YouTube, and finally beat him.
But please sit down and hold your applause: I had to reduce the difficulty to the easiest, and I feel no shame at this point.

Wait, what? lol. I just uninstalled it last night and have no idea how I was playing.

I had to doublecheck, but I was playing in quality mode. I assume you were playing in performance mode, which may have actually been a little better for combat. Fun 8/10 game, but as with the first one fairly repetitive and runs out of steam a little bit by the end. I actually enjoyed the bounties more than anything else in the game.

Yeah I did the same thing back in the day. 1 felt pretty clunky so was hard to get into, so didn't play it for very long. Played the hell out of 2, good balance of story and game play. I thought 3 had the best game play out of the three but the story wasn't as good as 2.

Mass Effect is on my list. I played the hell out of the first game when it came out, so I'll likely skip it, but as far as I recall I've only played through 2 and 3 once each, and barely remember them. Same for the fourth.
Incidentally, I played through the Bioshock trilogy a few months ago, and had forgotten how great they were. Even Infinite, which I don't think I finished on the Xbox 360. And it was refreshing that it took 30-40 hours to get through all three.
It's left me to wonder what other games I ought to revisit.

I finished BallxPit. It gets a little repetitive at the end when you've upgraded everything and there isn't much challenge. But overall it was a really fun game and I'm hoping they add new levels.

Same here. Fun game, but super repetitive after a few runs. Fun for a while though.

I owe a portion of who I am today to the Mass Effect games... Such an incredible journey. And the lore behind the games is so extensive and brilliant. I love Mass Effect. Shepard is my guy.
There's also books - They kick rump too.
