I would think they just want the debate and then the next vote will be 2 for 87 against. Every other bill the two crazy ladies from one BC have tabled haven’t made as far as this one has. It’s actually funny how hard the try not to hide the bigotry towards First Nations.

Federal and municipal police believe the crime wave has links to Indian agents, whose playbook has also inspired a slew of copycats and local criminals.

On Oct. 21, federal RCMP commissioner Michael Duheme says the Mounties have strong evidence showing the "highest levels" of the Indian government were involved in orchestrating a campaign of violence on Canadian soil, including murder, extortion and intimidation.

Police also claim there is evidence connecting the Bishnoi gang to Indian government agents.

The commissioner says attempts to share evidence with Indian police have been unsuccessful.

RCMP described Brothers Keepers as 'prominent and violent gang'

Interesting, so the RCMP think it's likely related to mobs and actual government officials in India, but also being copycatted by local gangs. The Brothers Keepers gang has a lot of Indian members, but isn't exclusively any one race/ethnicity.

Extortion suspects have all claimed refugee status, Canada’s border agency says

The foreign nationals were identified by B.C.’s Extortion Task Force, but once the Canada Border Services Agency began investigating them, all claimed to be refugees.

As a result, deportations of the 14 suspects have been put on hold until the Immigration and Refugee Board decides whether they have legitimate cases for asylum.

“They just bought four years in Canada, with subsidized health. If they want to go to school, that’s subsidized, and if they need public assistance, that’s subsidized by the taxpayer,” he said.

All 11 were found to be in “non-compliance,” a term that generally means their student or work permits had expired, or they were not studying at the schools, or employed in the jobs, stipulated in their visas.

Don't mistake exploit our kindness for weakness.

I'd rather they go to jail than get deported. It's not like going back to India will stop anyone from being a scammer. Put them behind bars instead.

which ironically makes the land value worthless and so makes claiming it pointless, I suspect that will be the get out of jail free card, value will have to be assessed as if the land was never colonized
