[Trade] Canucks trade Quinn Hughes to the Wild for 2026 1st, Rossi, Buium, and Ohgren

Comes to Calgary puck and complains that the conversations center around the Calgary Flames. Obviously everything discussed here is going to be compared with things the Flames have done. On another note Hughes scored tonight and actually shot the puck in the net. Didn't have ten posts about it the second it happened though.

Sometimes a trade can be good for both teams. This is maybe one of those examples.

That’s the thought I had as well. I’m sure it’s covered in the 25 pages of this thread but the Xcel Center was going insane when Hughes scored. Great shot in the arm for the Wild who could now be bumped up into the conversation in the West. And the Canucks got a haul.

Maybe Hughes will re-sign there…it’s a great hockey town imo. I doubt it but we will see. I can’t see them winning this season or next over the Avs or Stars so maybe writing is on the wall that he’ll join his brothers but you never know

Goaltending goes to the Wild in my opinion, who have 2 solid options. They’re gonna make noise in the playoffs.
