If he didn't get hurt I wonder how much higher he would have gone, I heard a comparison to Panarin the way he darts to the middle of the ice at high speed.

Would anybody be surprised if Reschny goes pro after this season?

The points with Reschny are no doubt impressive in his D+1 in college but for me it's the little things that stand out. Put in tough situations against the opposition all the time because he's so defensively sound, great face off numbers, draws penalties. What a treat to see this guy excelling playing top line C in the NCAA.

North Dakota coach said Hockey Canada called him to inform him of player(s) they are interested in for the WJC. North Dakota plays on Dec 12th, but that is the start of Canada’s training camp, so players will miss a couple games. He didn’t give names, but the assumption is Reschny and Verhoeff

According to USA Hockey, they will announce their roster tomorrow, with training camp starting on the 15th. I wonder if Wyttenbach is now in their radar?

yeah and even though he didn't get a point on the GWG he was pretty key to the play- won the draw then it went D to D and then to Zellers (the goal scorer) who was actually as much looking pass to Reschny who was net front on the play

Cole Reschny is having a fantastic D+1 season. The NCHC has a higher nhl-equivalency than the ECAC. So, Reschny’s NHLe is 39, and Wyttenbach is at 32, and Potter is at 31, all up from their draft years. I just continue to think Reschny was an excellent pick, given his outstanding production and defensive trustworthiness. Consider that Michael Hage’s D+1 NHLe was 28.
