I love that at the end of that piece they say that the Oilers appeared to be turning it around with late wins over Columbus and Philly. The Columbus win was the flukiest comeback ever, and didn’t show a hint of them getting things together.

In case anyone was wondering, in year 1 of his new 8-year, $14.5M contract, Draisatl is on pace for 86 points. Last year 86 points was good for 18th in the league, this year he's tied for 22nd (so far). Tough start to the new contract for the 2nd highest paid player in the NHL.
Drycyle in particular is terrible defensively. His plus minus might be positive but it’s funny how often goals agsinst EDM have him hovering around taking no one, doing nothing.
