Yeah, I can't remember a hotter July in all my years living here. I think I mentioned earlier we usually have 3 or 4 days a year where the temperature hits 30+, but I swear it's already been like 10 times. Looking like it might hit 30+ again on thursday and friday.

I think we only hit 16 or 17 today as a high, which was awesome.

Since moving out of Seattle, I havent been able to follow let alone watch the M's that much.

Doing what you do the rest of the year, you deserve every minute of *holiday* you get!

It smells like a campfire in my house because of course the windows are open. There are forest fires all around us. The nearest one is about 30 miles away. (Tally Lake for Displaced Flames Fan).

For those of you wanting to come to Kalispell for the weekend, there is a stretch of Hsy 2 near Marias Pass that is closed off and on due to the Skyland fire, or has traffic delays. Better to go through Fernie.

I'd tell you to get off the computer and go study, but during the regular school year, I'm just as bad.

Haha so am I, but the difference with the regular year is that I have hockey to distract me too!

Another interesting tidbit from my email.

More than 50% of the people in the world have never made or received a telephone call.

A friend of mine flew with the Snowbirds a few years ago.

He's back flying F18s stationed out of Bagotville.
