My soft spot for Columbus grew immensely after seeing how they and Calgary handled the death and cared for the Gaudreau family. Win-win game for me, win or lose. Hope Monahan scores one tonight.

Sincere Congrats to Kadri. After tonight though sooner he’s gone the better can’t have him help stealing many more precious points in the overall standings in addition to a good trade return.

For sure it doesn't tell the whole story, but it's excellent when a player receives irrational hatred that you can point at something that maybe just maybe will give the upset person pause.
Less bad stuff has happened with him on the ice compared to players in similar situations.

No one is saying advanced stats tell the whole story. This gets put out there constantly even though no one is saying that. But they certainly are part of the story and when the stats suggest something different than the eye test, it suggests at least asking why that is and considering if your eye test may also be flawed.
And I think allowing Kuz to have a practice or two only benefits him and puts him in a position to succeed. Just because the team is unlikely to make the playoffs doesn't mean things like that still don't make sense.

Hell, I would be afraid to do anything out there knowing that I am likely sitting again.
Regardless, I watch the games because I am a Flames fan, but it is definitely getting harder and harder to justify their decisions let alone watch the games for the most part this year.

The Ducks did the same thing with Leo Carlsson and it seems to have worked. The Ducks are not in a hockey market, so it wasn't as big of a deal.
Plus, it seems like Parekh has been dealing with a nagging injury.

Can we fast forward to the deadline, trade our assets and then FF to the draft?
Please.

It is a bit superfluous to use an expression that means you are not at all an apologist for the coaches and management in a post that criticizes them.
