Not everything needs to be compared to Bennett and not everything about Bennett’s development is bad, considering the “game” he is best known for was developed in Calgary, not junior.

I think you’re trying to say the Flames employ a low-risk defensive strategy, and Parekh is a high-risk offensive player, and that teaching him how to play a low-risk defensive game is actually bad and will mess him up. Yeah?
If so, I disagree. Above anything else, the focus on teenagers should be the development of a complete game. Long, long before that’s left to rot in favour of playing solely to the individual strengths they’ve already developed.
