Parekh is already developing to be a much better Bouchard.

He's going to learn from his mistakes. If he goes back to the OHL he's probably not going to need to play any better defensively and will just have another free-wheeling season acting as a rover.
Personally, I don't mind him making mistakes, as long as he doesn't get injured.

Sounds like Flames coaching staff are committed to putting Zayne in positions to succeed, pointing to how they replaced Bahl with Zayne in the o-zone a few times knowing Zayne's skill level. Also good to hear how they're willing to put up with the 2 on 1s that will result when Parekh makes the bad punch, etc because they know he's an offensive-minded, talented player who will give those up from time to time.

Pretty much? But I guess the only other thing is he's supposed to be learning his craft from the vets and right now thats Weegar and Andersson who, frankly, have been playing like hot ass lately.

So...I'm not overly concerned if he's 'costing the team' because, as you said, this year thats not really a major concern. My only thought would be..."is he getting better?"

And thus far I think he has been but its been too small of a sample size to really tell.

There it is! Good dish by Sharky, then going to the net, even a better shot by Huby.

Wolf is looking good out there. He made that glove save look so easy.

I've seen this movie before. Flames leading 1-0. I'm predicting a 2-1 loss.

Pretty ugly hockey. Not many plays being executed in either zone. Sloppy stuff.

Usual suspects look ok.
Klapka having a rough game, can’t stay on his skates.
Wolf looks good.
Hubby creating, line looks ok.

But I agree, very sloppy for the most part.
Looks like two “meh” teams playing hockey.

I have liked Andersson's game so far. Making some good defensive plays.
