This summer I was driving from Toronto to Niagara, and thought I'd slip into Hamilton just to say that I have been. Drove past the stadium as well.

I don't like to dump on places for no reason, but holy smokes it was indeed a bleak place. We did have a nice time seeing the shops on Locke Street which was outside of the downtown area. But... that was about it.

I saw one Cavs/Forge game in Hamilton in May. That's the last time I ever go see a game there. The stadium was fine (although does not have nowhere NEAR the charm and presence of ATCO Field; it's a CFL stadium first and foremost), but the people side-eyed us the entire time (I guess we were the only Cavs fans there really), the area is a hole, the drive in to the city was weird (like a gigantic hybrid of worn down factories, grey haze, abandoned buildings, and poorly maintained street infrastructure) and the drive out was like being in Dawn of the Dead going through the downtown area. I'm sure there are nice places in Hamilton, but I definitely didn't see them.

Had good pizza at an indy pizza place a couple blocks from the stadium, I'll give it at least that.

The first time I saw it I was driving from Toronto to Buffalo at night. When you cut across the corner of the lake on the bridge and see the "skyline", AKA open flames coming out of stacks - it really is something.

Canada's Baghdad.

I'm trying to move my seats over a couple of spots, anyone have any clue how to do this? I can only figure out how to buy extra tickets but not move my current ones.

So frustrating. The seats I want have now been purchased. I have literally been emailing the club for the last two seasons trying to move over, all they would say is we do relocation in November, can't add you to a list. Last year the allowed to new group to buy the seats before I was able to relocate. This year same friggin thing, new group bought the seats and I had no chance to relocate.

Just brutal customer service in my opinion. I know I'll still be back but very frustrating and off putting to deal with.

I've had this kind of issue as well. I want to move one seat I have, and every year it's the same problem. They should give us priority, as far as I'm concerned. I already pay...why not make sure that I'm happy before someone who isn't already paying?

Did it not work to just buy the seats you wanted as new season tickets and not renew your current seats?

I don’t know, mines set to automatically renew. Maybe there’s a work around, and maybe it’s on me.

I have never moved seats, but I find that the office is really accommodating by telephone with other minor things I’ve had to have done over the years. I’d give them a call and see what they can do for you.

Sometimes these are good ones and end up in surprise. The underdog, piss poor away record, low expectations, etc. And if it ends up in a loss anyway, it is hard to argue that anything more was deserved.

For sure, but you could buy a new season ticket at any time, and then just turn off auto-renew for your existing ticket (or call the office and have them fix it if you get charged for it still, at least this way you secured the seat you wanted).

Yeah, I guess what I need to have happen is the people next to me need to move, so this seat is open. If they had the moves happen ahead of the renewal, that make this easier.

I can’t believe how long it took for Forge to get carded that half. They were basically all over Toby, not playing the ball at all, and just pressed their luck the entire time.

FTF.
Cavs win! Shutout Forge for first game in 24.
Dumb Bobby compared the Forge to the Blue Jays pregame.
