Blue Jays aren’t getting back to the WS for a while. It took a lot of things to go right to get there this time, as well as they played and looked through the playoffs and even the WS it was still a struggle.

Beiber gone Scherzer gone Bassett gone Bichette likely gone. Then the regular turnover. Jays still have a high payroll and still can’t atttact players. Will this run help? Maybe, probably not.

To be 5 outs away and give up 2HR from Yesavage and Hoffman. Never mind yesterday.

This was there chance for this generation and maybe the next while. And it was all right there tonight and even with 5 outs to go. And then again in the bottom of the 9th.

And they may as well have lost in 4 now.

This one will haunt for a long long time.
I mean we took out one of our top hitters for IKF because of only base running and then he didn't lead off and jump to home properly. That's your world series right there.

Magical season just fell short. Go back and read the entire Jays thread.

Casual observer but made the mistake of getting invested in this run.

This is a cruel sport.

Jays outplayed the Dodgers significantly over the 7 games. But Yamamoto was a thing. And managing was thing. This is going to sting for awhile. When Bo hit the homer I thought special things were afoot. But you cant stop fate.

I hate that the MLB hands the trophy to the owners and management first. So f'n lame. Give it to the players FFS.

- The pitch before the tying homerun could have just as easily been called a strike.

- California hates Trump just as much as Canada.

2 statements that are true.

yup. There were a bunch of other moments but literally if he had any type of lead there its over. He was basically on base when the ball was hit. Just so ####ing dumb

Bumgarner did the same thing with little rest IIRC.

I’m sorry for the Jays fans. We all know what 2004 felt like. Still hurts, but should be looked at fondly too.

At least you have back to back cup wins you can watch back and relive. We have jack squat.

Nah. this is bad, but I'm much more of a Flames fan than a Jays fan. That one still hurts and it's been 21 years.

A lot of moves to analyze and lament. Yesavage coming in seemed too much of a reach to me at the time. And he clearly didn’t have it and it set the Dodgers up for one swing to tie.
