Varsity Estates is very nice. I grew up in the NW and some of my friends lived down there. I like the vibe and I like the dark wood finishing inside the homes (probably many have been renovated away from that now, though). Back then they were gorgeous places, especially compared to Dalhousie lol.
P.S. If you're not envious of lake communities it's because you've never spent time at them. They're the closest you can come in Calgary to living in a Norman Rockwell painting. The most wholesome fun ever. Skating lake loops. Swimming. Kayaking. SUPing. Canoeing. Paddleboating. Rowboating. Diving. Sledding. Tennis. Basketball. Firepits. Beech volleyball. I used to organize an annual Nerf gun fight when my kids were younger and we'd get about 30 kids out there battling it out. Etc. Etc. I mean, I guess Market Mall is close by, but you are totally talking nonsense if you think Varsity is superior to Bonavista. Like...I'm embarrassed for you that you wrote that out and clicked "submit reply".

Sliver is correct that lake communities rule. I grew up in Sundance and it’s basically heaven. Heck, even Midnapore rules.
