Pretty cool to see it come full circle. | Joe Carter caght the ball playing first base for the final out to win the 1992 World Series. Otis Nixon was the Braves batter. Carter hit the home run in 1993 with Mitch "the wild thing" Williams pitching to him.

Unreal and nobody would ever believe you.

Maybe Shapiro and Atkins will actually get a bit of respect now

Now that it's over, I really have to admit the only player I really like on the Mariners is Cal Raleigh. He seems like a really humble guy, never being too high or too low, and his numbers speak for itself this year. I hope he gets better teammates soon.

Is Naylor not a good dude? He was the one that impressed me the most, seemed like he was always getting clutch hits for his team and making great plays at 1st

Great player, and Canadian, but...seems like a rat/weasel type to me if we're talking about character. I did like his shoes though.

Need to enjoy all the wins and the little moments along the way. Not just wait to celebrate the big things.

I look at somebody like Gaudreau and hope he actually got to enjoy and celebrate that moment he had against Dallas...becasue he never got the chance to feel something like that again through no fault of his own.

The Gaudreau Monahan hug was epic

Now I want to see George Springer ride that police horse

Wow that was awesome! Best game and biggest home run since 93. The last time the Jays were in the World Series I had to ask my parents to stay up past my bedtime.
Definitely was surprised they got this far after the bad start and I was one of the pessimistic fans ready to write them off and blow up the team. So many great contributions from the entire roster and Vladdy’s contract looks like a good deal.

Bring on the Dodgers! Ohtani is going to get booed sometime fierce. Hope we can get Bo back and maybe he can hit a winning HR and limp around the bases like Gibson and Freeman.

Watched the Seahawks on delay after and got to relive the win with the broadcast giving updates and showing Seattle fans watching on their phones looking sad. The Mariners are definitely the most cursed MLB franchise and I’d feel sorry for them if they lost to any other team.

I'm going to lick my wounds tonight and my Jays hat will go on tomorrow. It was a memorable series and not one I'll forget.

Enjoy your victory and beat the Dodgers!!!!

I don't normally follow baseball too closely unless the Jays are doing good. My oldest son fell in love with the game through one of his grandpa's influence. He loves the Jays as much l, or maybe more than the Flames. As a result, I'm paying more attention...

Both my wife and I have cousins around Seattle area. We were both having some good banter with our cousins this last week but we'd probably be cheering for Seattle if the Jays weren't in the picture.

So our youngest was at a movie tonight, our middlest was working and our eldest was at his girlfriend's watching the game. My wife and I were home alone watching the Jays tonight. We both got a bit emotional thinking of our dads and how we wished they could have seen this.... When our eldest came home he too was emotional. He's never experienced a team he loves making it to the championship round. So much excitement in our house.

What. A. Night.

Nah he’s old school and that’s refreshing these days.
Tonight, willing to knowingly take one in the back of the head to break up a DP.

80% or so of the Mariners runs this series were via HR. That isn’t sustainable if you can’t manufacture runs via singles and doubles. Jays were the overall better team, it just took 7 games to get the result.

WS is gravy.

Wow, still in disbelief. This is incredible, I haven't been this excited about any team or sport in a very long time. I was fortunate enough to go to the first 2 games of the ALDS and experience the atmosphere live, such a fun season and team. Costing me a fortune, I've been purchasing all the Topps Blue Jays special edition playoff cards, and now merch off MLB shop. I'm loving every minute of this
