I believe in the Jays.

We don’t look like a team that will be able to get wins away to Forge and Ottawa in the playoffs.

Season ticket renewals are out. Looks like we get 16 games this year instead of 15.
My ticket in 200 went up about 50¢ a game. Have heard tickets in 109 are up $2 a game and $1.80 a game in 107. Not sure about other sections.

The Whitecaps fielded a very strong lineup for the Canadian Championship final and 10 minutes in it is over. Müller with a penalty goal and an assist. Wild that he’ll become the most decorated German footballer ever by winning the Canadian championship

This is a demolition job. No more goals but two posts by the 15th minute

Putting up 2 on the Caps is a fairly impressive feat. 4-2 for the worst CPL team of all time against one of the top MLS teams? Not bad at all.

So the 16 games presumably includes all the league games, and the Canadian Championship game is the extra one we now need to pay for?
By the way, I just realised that one of the STH benefits is 15% discount off merchandise. I've bought stuff this season in the store and never availed of a discount. Are we supposed to give our STH number to the cashier to get a discount, or is it just an online only discount?

Yes you have to give your season ticket account number at the checkout to get the discount. I've used it at the store and online. They've never asked when I've checked out you have to remember to do it.

Shome will be with Bangladesh next weekend against Hong Kong and China. Gherasimencov has been called to Moldova's senior national team for the first time as well.

Halifax and York draw. A win tomorrow puts Cavalry 5 up on York and 6 up on Halifax with 2 games left

Cavalry up 2-1. Baldisimo kicks the ball away and gets a second yellow. Cavalry give up 2 goals within 8 minutes. Shocking lack of composure against a terrible Pacific side.
In a couple weeks we can get this season over with I guess

Klomp saves a point in the 93rd minute. Result is still disappointing just a little less disappointing.

That was a bloody important point to save, especially with Forge coming to town.
I don't like our odds, but this team still shows flashes. Need to just get super super lucky that we see some come playoff time. Given the road performances this year however, they've dug a hole by not being top 2.

That's the thing. 3rd or 4th gets a home playoff match, but after that the remainder of the playoffs would be on the road. I could see something special happening at Spruce Meadows, like that dismantling of Forge to end their streak. But doing it in Hamilton and then Ottawa (or vice versa), back to back? Anything is possible, and it would be legendary, but I just can't see it happening based on what we've seen on the road.

They've won 3 of their 13 road games all year, haven't won on the road since July 20, and went 0-3-1 away against Forge and Ottawa. I don't see them getting past the 3 vs 4/5 game this year wiht the way they've played on the road.

How has attendance been this year across the league? Do they release figures periodically?

Stolen from Reddit
Worth noting that Forge's average without the 17K school day game is 6076. Still a nice improvement, but not as dramatic as it may seem. Similarly York without the Quebec City game is at 1677.

Yorks attendance is encouraging. 1677 is a really good result for them. Though they only appear to make 30,000 a game on ticket sales at that number. So yeah, still losing a bunch of money.

Does anyone really think Vancouver are averaging even half of the 1408 they claim? There are quite frequently only dozens, not hundreds, of people at their matches.
