Went by it earlier today. Except for the mop up CFD crews, it doesn't look much different. Concrete doesn't burn very well.
Yeah, yeah, but people dont realize that the Legion was housing most of the crackheads and junkies and now they're going to be wandering the streets or occupying the Ogden Block.

I know but I wonder if the parking charges materially affected Sbux sales from that location.

As already mentioned, Starbucks are chopping locations left, right, and centre. Unprofitable, profitable, new, old, etc. Monogram wouldn't have helped them. But I'm sure that this is a Starbucks issue vs. a parking issue.
Parking is like a buck an hour. While paying for parking sucks anywhere, the smart folks know that the Park Plus app is the best way to feed the necessary evil. Grabbing a coffee to go would be like $0.07. Stay in for an hour? A cool dollar.
Obviously the barrier, particularly in that neighbourhood, isn't a financial one but perhaps a mental one. But if someone is pre-ordering their latte on the Starbucks app, they can certainly handle the Park Plus one too. Even my dad does the Park Plus app, and he's 74.

Yeah, Monogram has been there for almost 10 years. And Native Tongue and Village Ice Cream seem to be doing well. So it seems to be a Starbucks thing.

Went to Shake Shack in Toronto, pretty similar as US ones.
