That was a very good game by everyone. I think week 2 will tell us a lot more about who should stick with the team and who should hit waivers, some tough decisions ahead.
If you could only keep 1 of Kirkland, Kerins, and Morton, with the other 2 claimed on waivers who do you keep? I think it's Kerins for me, because I see so much of Monahan's game in his, but Morton is a close 2nd.
I really liked Parekh tonight, and the new looking PK. Bahl also looks fantastic. I hope that sets the stage for Weegar - Andersson. I have no idea which 2 D will round out the top 6, and look forward to that battle next game.
Oh yeah, Frost looks so much better than last year, I think he gets 60 points this year.

Gotta keep Kerins of those three. A lot younger and a lot more potential upside. Plus the Flames need all the offense they can get.
Kirkland is 29, decent chance he gets claimed considering he had a strong start last season. Don't think Morton is on as many team's radar.

Just finished the game, I know it’s just preseason but still that game was pretty fricken awesome. Intensity and hitting were pretty top notch. I thought there were a ton of positives tonight.
Love me some Wolf.
Thought Parekh was great. He’s super exciting to watch like Johnny. Made some fantastic defensive plays too.
Frost is looking good so far this year.
Also really liked Bru and Bahl.
Thought a lot of players played decent like Klapka, Kerins, Kirkland, Solo, Kuznetsov, Coronato, Huberdeau, Honzek.
Pretty happy with that game!

The time to move Andersson might be now. Too many guys making a case. Bean looking redundant as well.
They were talking on the broadcast the other night that Huska has been really impressed by Bean, both mentally and physically- it seems that injuries kept him from training the way he wanted to in the summer of 2024, which contributed greatly to his sub-par season. He had a great summer this off-season apparently.

Problem is every team has 8 great defensemen in training camp right now. Wait until cuts happen and the vets step it up and then some of those great defensemen will be exposed. That's the time there may be interest.
