If Honzek makes the team, I'd like to see him start with Backs and Coleman

I've only been able to watch the 3rd but Sam Honzek looks legitimately ready.

Parekh is good.
Solo, Kuz and Bruz were all really solid. But I like Solo the best. He and Pachal looked really comfortable. Bruz is also great but he will need to wait for Andersson to be traded. Either way hope they all get a longer look. One of those three should crack the Roster.
Bean and Hanley will have a lot to prove.
Klapka is an NHLer.
Kirkland was not good.
Honzek did not stand out except the PK in the third. He did look a bit better late in the third. I think he will need to be undeniable in the AHL if he wants some NHL games.
Gridin will be a stud, but not yet 2026 will be his year.
Kerins is dangerous in the O zone, but i am not convinced by his decision making, or his ability to contain pucks in the O zone. Not sure he won a single buck battle all night.
Other that, Morton has hustle. I wonder if he gets a longer look.

I thought he got stronger and stronger over the game, and he's looking OK considering he's not exactly on a featured line. A couple nice checks, a great drive to the net and that last play were all good.
OTOH, Kirkland, who I thought would be kind of a lock for the black ace position, has not impressed me tonight.

If Honzek can keep playing like he has in the third he has a shot. But he was pretty invisible in the first two frames. Consistency is key.

The time to move Andersson might be now. Too many guys making a case. Bean looking redundant as well.

I'm looking forward to the battles yet to come, especially on the blueline. Lots and lots of options, now and in the future. I'm becoming a big fan of Kuz......huge kid and can skate. Solo looked good, Bruz was kind of under the radar and still putting up points. Zayne looked pretty great for the most part.
