I think it's unlikely it's the most unconstitutional thing that happened on any day of this administration.

On this, a day that his administration is working to invent a make believe terrorist organization that he can claim his political opponents are members of. Or yesterday when it was revealed that Trump blackmailed foreign governments with the threat of export restrictions to solicit billions in investments into his families businesses. Or the day before when he murdered foreign nationals in international waters, or the day before when he he appointed a governor to the fed who carried a duel assignment on Whitehouse staff in order to overturn a decision they made.

It would almost be too tiring to go back ~200 days and recite the hundreds of things that are more unconstitutional, than bullying a group of TV stations into insisting that their network suspend a talk show host. It would be easier to just list the dozens of things he has done that are worse than Watergate.

They don't really need to apply pressure at all. David Ellison (son of Trump's friend and briefly world's richest person Larry Ellison) is the CEO of Paramount now after his company acquired it (with help from Trump's FCC). They're currently in the process of reorganizing CBS's news division to make it more right wing and more pro-Israel. Paramount Skydance is also in the running to buy Warner Bros, so presumably a similar thing will happen to CNN if that goes through.

And David's father Larry appears to be heading up a consortium that Trump is going to hand over US control of TikTok to. Ellison is a staunch supporter of Trump and Israel, so presumably US TikTok users will see a shift in what they see in order to benefit who Ellison supports.
