I just hope it's not one of those situations where management knew about a situation involving some kind of serious misconduct, and didn't act on it swiftly and decisively. I would hate for a former employee of the team to take down any of our people with him.

I respect your hockey takes and insider info, but this one had nothing to do with Mitch Love, so at the very least it was done with poor taste. I would own up to it and move on.
People are divided, and this once again proves it. Charlie Kirk was very good at finding common ground with people he disagreed and debated with. A skill many here including myself would benefit greatly from. Calling people fascists/Nazis/nutjobs for disagreeing with you only further alienates them, and entrenches their values on the opposing side of the political spectrum.
I personally don't open a Mitch Love thread to read about politics, there's enough of that crap as it is, so can we all just get along as Flames fans, and hate on Edmonton or something?

Hey come on guys stop talking about Charlie Kirk. He was an amazing person and not a controversial figure at all and stop calling people names for being Charlie Kirk supporters. And stop bringing politics into a hockey thread.
Did I mention how awesome Charlie Kirk is? And how much I hate it when people talk about politics?

It's amazing people can't differentiate between making a joke about people losing their jobs no matter what side they are on and the actual assassination itself which has nothing to do with my post at all. I have nothing to own up to, that's for the posters who made my post into something it isn't. I don't regret posting that joke because it was actually funny unless you take it out of context.

Maybe we could start an appreciation thread for Charlie Kirk in the off topic forum?

The joke was fine, people on the far right side of the political spectrum are just super, super, super uptight about ANYNTHING negative said about Charlie Kirk....Not anything negative said about other left wing assassinations/assaults in the last year, they literally don't care about those and have nothing to say. Just Charlie Kirk. We need to all fall in line and "mourn properly" so we don't
face social persecution for not expressing grief and sympathy.
But also remember on top of all of this, it's the left that are snowflakes.
edit: ****. I just realized this doesn't fit in with the guidelines of "don't speak of politics in the hockey forum....unless it's a far right poster writing an essay to counter a small joke because they are all total snowflakes right now".

All I can get

Nine NHL Head Coaches were hired this past offseason, in which Love allegedly applied for two of them. What we don’t know is how widespread these allegations were.
I could see Love applying for the Kraken job given his past job histoty in nearby Everett.

I think I am very clearly missing some key element here.

There are groups on The Facebook that allow people to post and ask if they are dating the same guy. Perhaps that is what is meant by "being named"?
