This thread is just a perfect microcosm of the right wing psyche. Ignoring inconvenient truths, projection (calling those of us that don't care Kirk is dead monsters and then not condemning similar minded people going on crusades to get people fired or even the widow threatening revenge).
Full on hypocrisy and double standards, but I guess without those, they wouldn't have any. It'd be comical if it wasn't so depressing.

First of all nobody deserves to be assassinated. That is such a simple position I don't know why some on the right are using this as some kind of rally cry. I would say 95% of the people on both sides of the spectrum do not want this kind of things to happen.
On to Kirk there is nothing to appreciate about him. He was a literal definition of a carefully tuned rage bait machine who literally just hides behind his faith. He is a charismatic grifter and opportunist and found his niche in promoted freedom, fear, and hate to those who don't have the capability to think critically or resist obvious misinformation. His views are backwards looking he will go down in history as another far right experiment that hopefully doesn't go much further.
And don't forget, he is held in high regard by a rapist pedo. Call me old fashioned but if a rapist pedo likes you that is a sign your a deplorable.
"People love what I have to say. They believe in it. They just don't like the word 'Nazi'. That's all" - Stormfront, The Boys, Season 2, Episode 8
Man, I always seem to keep thinking back to this scene from a show with an irreverant take on superheroes in modern America. Boy, does it encompass posters like Gordon Bombay, The Boy Wonder, Goriders, ComixZone, The Fonz, calgarygeolist, Language, and a litany of other honorable mentions I don't really have the ambition to source right now.
People like Charlie Kirk have somehow obfuscated the terms 'fascist' and 'Nazi' in such a way that that people feel OK absorbing, embodying, and espousing the ideology while brushing aside the labels. They'll even claim the words have been so dilluted they're meaningless.
The problem for them is that the rest of us are not so easily drawn in and manipulated, so when we hear, read, and witness fascist ideology we're entirely comfortable calling you what you are: Nazis.
Although you've repeatedly and vigorously whinged about the label, it seems you're entirely comfortable with the tenets. While I chuckle and embrace the implications behind people calling me woke, socialist, liberal, or libtard, you're trying to re-brand and victimize yourselves as if you're some yin to a yang that just needs to find a more digestible classification.
By all means and with great enthusiasm, keep labeling me with the aforementioned terms of what I consider endearment. I will keep calling out your fascist rhetoric and Nazi behaviour for what they are. If you don't like it, maybe don't be such a fascist Nazi.
And you know what, maybe you're not a fascist Nazi. Maybe you just felt compelled to show up in this and other threads and tell us all how we're horrible, disgusting, and mentally ill people for calling a spade a spade and not being the bleeding heart, idealistic liberals your information bubbles have convinced you we are.
It's not a great look to virtue signal for a tried and true Nazi when the best you can offer is that "he had a different opinion" and "he was a husband and father", while also deriding our mental health and wishing us to befall the same fate.
Your call to humanism falls flat, much like Charlie Kirk did on September 10th. Too soon?
We are now at the point where some are no longer embarrassed to be called a fascist. I think when this happens, on a large scale, all will be lost.

You certainly don't even see a fraction of the outrage and mourning from the right when there are school shootings. Yet when a grown man who I don't even think his supporters can deny, was antagonizing and provocative, gets shot and killed, it's flags at half-mast and war on the left.
There are reasonable conservatives, but there is something pathologically wrong with MAGA types. They literally can't see the hypocrisy and have no self-awareness.

Frankly, we should send love out into the world, even the corners of hate.
His wife is a reprehensible and vile c###, but his kids didn't exactly choose this, and there are probably members of his extended family in the same position. They're just hurting right now.

It’s moving, the way the whole world is supporting Charlie Kirk. And unfortunately for the shooter and his motive, he’s made Kirk a martyr and exposed him to millions of new listeners.
The whole world is supporting him? Have you stepped outside your house?
Actually, I never heard of Kirk before the South Park episode. And reading up after on all the hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic things he has said... my opinion of him is much lower than it was when he was alive.

Coldplay is basically a corporation and doing that kind of #### is an easy way to get a whole boatload of new listeners. They know people like you will repost it and spread it on Truth Media and they can make more money. Chris Martin doesn't give a #### about Charlie Kirk. But he will jump on the money train gladly.

Or it's a very minute moment in a 2+ hour concert that mentions Charlie Kirk because his assassination is a current and very relevant moment in history in an entirely neutral manner and deserves precisecly none of the attention even we - a niche forum for a professional hockey team in Calgary - has given it.
Now I want to hear what Ja Rule has to say about this.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
Nazis do deserve to die though. We had a war about this. A World War. We spent much of the late 1930s to the 1960s killing Nazis. We were quite good at it.
