There's a joke here about Berrios missing the shot but I am above that sort of thing...

Like what? It's not the easiest shot to take but any decent hunter has made that numerous times. And yes "libtards" own guns and use them.

Also worth noting that the Nazis set the fire.
So that post is interesting for a bunch of different reasons.

Assassination of political figures is as American as Apple pie. Ask Lincoln and MLK.

Huey Long, Robert Kennedy, Medger Evers, MLK, Malcolm X- even George Lincoln Rockwell to run down the list, and not even mentioning the presidents who have been assassinated or very nearly killed. If you’re going to have a strong stance on something in the US, You better be prepared for someone to take a shot at you.

The son answered the door and, while he permitted the agents to search his home, claiming he had nothing to hide, he asked if they could wait first while he put the family dog, Chop, a Rottweiler, away in the bathroom before they walked in, as the dog could be aggressive.
Border Patrol agents then asked the son if he could show them some identification.
According to the family, it is at this point that the son went to his pickup truck to retrieve his ID and a Border Patrol agent entered the home and, as a result, ended up shooting the dog.
The family stressed that the agents knew-- the son had told them-- that Chop was put in the bathroom for their safety and that the agents opened the door, let Chop out and shot him.

It’s mostly an internet thing. The miserable loons who spend all day rage-posting about politics aren’t representative of wider society.
Most people share your belief that all murder is bad and the political identity of the person who was murdered doesn’t change that. The fact those calling out the ghoulish behaviour here are being denounced as right-wingers shows how out of touch with real-world social norms the loons are.

After some pointed out who this Charlie Kirk character is, I watched his youtube videos for a bit. I don't see the "Hitler" in him, but it did occur to be that the States is made up of these characters who make a living debating to stir up the masses. People have stopped thinking for themselves and follow people like this more and more, siding with political beliefs and getting suckered into such topics. I shouldn't care what a person like him thinks but for some reason people have to identify themselves as RW or LW and follow that path. It's crazy but people really have to stop getting suckered into this nonsense.

Charlie Kirk wasn’t just some character. He ran TPUSA and was a powerful MAGA figure in Trump’s circus of clowns orbit. Saying people need to stop getting suckered into this nonsense are just words. As is claiming that wider society is unaffected by these politics. Millions of people have been radicalized and will continue to be radicalized by the huge network of social media outlets and the MSM pushing propaganda and disinformation, by design. The solution imo, is to clamp down on disinformation and hate speech in some fashion. But that’s a daunting task and will obviously create more problems with the free speech crowd.

Trump is breaking the news on this it seems. As per the WSJ. How is it normal for a president to break the news on Kirk’s death and the suspect’s capture?

If you want to pretend people being OK with a ghoulish racist bigot no longer spreading hate is some sort of negative human trait, go ahead. The real ghoulishness is that he was permitted to spread his hate for so long, and that people didn't reject it, and instead elevated him to a massive position of influence. I think you've got who the bad people are mixed up. But I guess if you aren't apart of one of the groups he relentlessly attacked, and you also fail to have empathy, it's easier to ignore that part of who he was and the damage he contributed to in American society(and spreading globally).
Here's some more of his cherished words, if you still disagree that he was a hate monger.

It’s true that most people believe that all murder is bad, including this one. I would wager 99-100% of the people in this thread included. But there is something unique among those who chime in repeatedly attempting to strip away the nuance and position themselves simply as those calling out “ghoulish behaviour.”
One of those posters turned around and wished other posters or their family members were murdered. Another one admitted to visiting pedophile communities and tried to attach them to the LGBTQ community. And you’ve used anti-LGBTQ hate speech and made light of this sort of “ghoulish behaviour” when it’s targeted toward someone you don’t like.
So perhaps it’s not the simple act of “standing up” that brings a label, but maybe people are actually quite a bit smarter than your ego would allow you to accept and are actually able to evaluate people beyond a single post.
Hard to say though, maybe you’re the moral hero you’re desperate to convince yourself you are.

From his fox news bit this morning
EARHARDT: We have radicals on the right as well. How do we fix this country?
TRUMP: I'll tell you something that's gonna get me in trouble but I couldn't care less. The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don't want to see crime. The radicals on the left are the problem.
And more lying
TRUMP: We have the Great Big Beautiful bill. That has tax cuts for the middle class. No tax on tips, no tax on social security, no tax on overtime
KILMEADE: We haven't felt that yet
TRUMP: You're gonna feel it really big

He says, and nothing else is available. I'm gonna need more than just Trump's word, given that he's still in the Epstein files.
