Such open lies, corruption, and deceit. So much of it. So easily normalized.

The letter that Trump denied existed and threatened to sue the WSJ for a bazillion dollars for saying existed has come out. Those boob sure do look small...

I would go so far as to say

1/9 want this
1/9 want to support their team regardless of what happens
1/9 support this happening but don't actually know what's happening

1/3 are actively against this for one of the reasons above

1/3 are disengaged and don't really know what's happening.

At the end of the day, there are still 30 million openly racist, fascist, scary, scary people down there, how are happy that Trump is ####ing Satan. That are actively trying to burn the global world order to the ground for a variety of reasons, and are willing to cope with all of the economic and political costs of their destruction. Scary as hell.

I still can't believe that human piece of garbage is POTUS in 2025. What a disaster.

If I was an NHL player damn right I’d prefer to play in Canada, setting for less money to do so.

I'd agree with those who have mentioned that the current situation in US will mean nothing to NHLers. They're all very rich and mostly not dark skinned, which makes for a pretty awesome life in America.

WASHINGTON (AP) — For years, Republicans have disparaged their political rivals by describing them as socialists. But that may not be the insult it once was for rank-and-file Democrats, who have warmed to socialism and increasingly see “capitalism” as a barb.

A new Gallup poll finds that while U.S. adults overall are more likely to have a positive view of capitalism than socialism, Democrats feel differently. According to the survey, only 42% of Democrats view capitalism favorably, while 66% have a positive view of socialism.

Capitalism’s image has slipped with U.S. adults overall since 2021, the survey finds, and the results show a gradual but persistent shift in Democrats’ support for the two ideologies over the past 15 years, with socialism rising as capitalism falls. The shifts underscore deep divisions within the party about whether open support for socialism will hurt Democrats’ ability to reach moderates or galvanize greater support from people who are concerned about issues like the cost of living.
In unrelated news Hakeem Jeffries continues to refuse to endorse Mamdani. I'm sure he has his reasons.

Tin foil hat time, but the word enigmas is an anagram for gamines and well the definition of gamine (a mischievous, boyish young girl) grossly fits the subject matter.

Why does this read like a blackmail letter?

Side note, Trump was probably the one who got Epstein offed in the first place. He was POTUS when it happened. If anyone could have ordered that hit, it was POTUS.
