Not at all. I appreciate anyone who shares knowing when things don't come to fruition or they got the wrong info they will take backlash for it. Even the paid insiders don't get it right quite a bit. This board is a better place when posters are not afraid to post.

Glad that it's finally done. Hopefully he's got a case to double his salary or better when he does his next deal.
Yeah, I was getting a little concerned with camp so close, that he'd miss all or a part of it. Players never look good when that happens, even if it's missing only a week or so, for whatever reason.
I watched a lot of Zary live as a Blazer, and I loved his style in the way he fearlessly drove the net and owned the center of the ice. I didn't think he would be able to translate it to the pros, but now that he's here, man I hope I was wrong. He was an electric player to watch!
Even on the Flames, prior to his injuries, Zary showed that he was one of the few players who could make things happen in the offensive zone and was also one of the best options to carry the puck past the blue line and not dump it into the corner. I really want to see him get back to that game. Exciting!

Insiders, real or not, should post what they want regardless of the skepticism or pushback they get.
Both sides are entitled to post what they choose to.
I think one of the most derision-evoking things, even more than people giving the insiders unnecessary flak, is that the insiders and their defenders never adjust their expectations and continue to get offended any time someone thinks their rumor is just hot air.
No one owes them the kids glove treatment just because they may or may not have info, but also they shouldn't be shocked when someone doesn't buy their rumor and expresses that.
You know, both sides can just do their thing without the drama.
Also, I dont think believing someone doesnt have sources is a personal attack either. Its crazy to me that individuals equate that to being abused or something.
Someone doesnt think you're an insider.. you're going to have an identity crisis and lecture people on being nice?
Its not a big deal. None of it is lol. If you reach that point, please go outside or take a bath or something.
Just food for thought.

Would've been happier with 5 years 25m. 3.75, 3.75, 3.75, 6.875, 6.875. Zary's camp must have those ufa years at 7m plus for it to not make sense going a bit longer.

Absolutely. I am excited to see that he is trying to bring his style to the NHL as opposed to playing it "safe".
Yeah, watching through his NHL goals again he's capable of the highskill play obviously but also has a nose for the net which is an underrated skillset for his size.
This season will be really interesting to see what progression he can make (and hopefully stay healthy obviously). The 3 year deal is perfect as we'll have a great understanding on where he slots by the end and if a long-term deal is next.

I was able to ignore Royle's relaying of imaginary conversations with imaginary people until he threatened to take his useless info elsewhere. It's not an airport, you don't need to announce your departure.
And then he just stayed around lol.

I think you're confused.

Who cares? Seriously? Did he bill you for subscription to his newsletter or something and now you somehow feel short-changed because you didn't get value for your money?
If someone says "hey, I heard this" then its up to the person hearing it to determine the validity of that information, if you then go out and parrot that information and it turns out differently or wrong and you look foolish, thats on you.
I heard from someone very reliable mere hours after the Gaudreaus deaths. I didn't say a word to anyone because, as reliable as that person was, the information seemed outlandishly unlikely but in the end he was right.
If someone wants to be an insider or pretend to be one...let them. Who cares? Its not like they're getting paid or anything. What do you want? Your 'seconds of reading a post' back?

Even your attempts at wit are stupid and make no sense. Who the **** announces their departure at an airport? Have you ever been to an airport? Given how insufferable you are, I can't imagine you interact with real people very often.

You know it’s possible to just give kudos to someone for nailing some info without turning it into an opportunity to take a shot at other insiderrrrrs or their defenderrrrs, right?
God some of you guys are weird and awkward. Why is this even a conversation in this thread? lol.

Seems from this clip that they see him as a winger who can take faceoffs and might be an option at centre if they have an injury at centre and they need him there… doesn’t look like they’re thinking to start him primarily at centre unless he looks really good on the face off dot

Mistake IMO, Zary needs a good look at center
