Cheering for the-rasta-masta's prediction. Expecting a bottom 10 finish. A lot went right last year for this team and they didn't have to fight through much adversity. I expect they'll pay for it this season.

The floor is $70.6M. The Flames are at $80.4M

Zary will roughly replace Andersson's hit, taking them down to about $80M. Coleman takes them to $75M. They wouldn't be able to move Sharangovich without taking a contract back, never mind Farabee as well.

I voted "barely miss playoffs".

I don't see them being wildly better this season or that the core group will have better seasons. Sure, some will put up better numbers, but others may regress and We're an ACL injury away from bottom 10 if Wolfie gets injured.

I voted they make the playoffs and win a round or two.

I think they'll be better across the board. I mean in terms of scoring and defense. They only thing that may be different is goaltending. It's a total crap shoot trying to predict what will happen in Wolf's sophomore season. And then you have to also try and figure out what Prosvetov is.

Ultimately, Wolfs rookie effort helped get a scoring deprived (3rd worst in the league IIRC) flames team to 96 points.

My guess is the Flames bounce back scoring wise, and allow less GA all while Wolf possible having a weaker season.

Prediction? Flames finish with 99 points.

I doubt anyone would take Farabee or Sharongovich without the Flames having to take back equivalent dead money in return. Hopefully they just have better seasons.

How the season finishes? Not with a Roar but with a Whimper.

Wolf either carries them to the brink of the Playoffs again or he takes a step back/the luck evens out from last season and the Flames finish bottom 5 like they should've last season

Parekh lives up to the hype and Flames fans can be confident that they have two top-notch superstar pillars running the net and defense for the next 10+ years

I voted barely missed the playoffs, don't think they are bottom 10,

However they won't be within a point or 2,

Likely further back, just outside of the bottom 10

It’s a tough call

Wolf and Vladar were pretty much equal except for Wolf padding his stats against the bottom 3 teams in each conference, so whoever gets the backup job and his starts are split will have an impact

A lot of young guys who were solid are a year older so if they develop on the whole, that bodes well

I think Parekh adds something 3 on 3 that hopefully tilts the OTL side of the ledger

I picked option 3

Hope I’m right… actually, naturally, I hope they do better but that’s a tall order
