I don't like giving him that much, it sets a bad precedent for overpaying players based on what they have produced. I think 3x3.5 is fair for what he has shown. If he wants 4.5 I would want a 5 year commitment.

Same here. I enjoy the discussions on trade speculations and hypothetical trade scenarios as well but the most intriguing posts are those with insider info.

Yeah for a 3 year deal, I don't think $4.5 is bad for the Flames.

Although surprised Zary wouldn't want 2 year deal. Flames have shown willingness to pay up after one good season. Sharangovich and Cornato are examples. Zary is a confident guy apparently, he could really cash in next summer with an extension after a good season.

Don’t let a handful of fools ruin it for you. I think some people just have a bad day, week, month or whatever and need to try to ‘win on the internet’ to make themselves feel better.

Personally (I'm probably in the minority) the only reason I check this thread is to read the rumours from Sec, Royle, Rasta etc.

I don't care if it doesn't amount to anything - its fun to speculate and wonder.

The constant fighting and bickering is just the worst. Its beyond off-putting

Me too. Post counts not being high can mean that we don't get drawn in to all the negativity which is the problem here. I've been a good poster for decades. Count me in.

I already said a few days back that I regret some posts I made. I think most of my responses are valid points or opinions. I do tend to get worked up when people start attacking me.

I changed my opinion on the gifs. The vibes are off without them, and it really lightens the mood.
