We've hit that part of the year where the lineup choices are baffling. Take our 3 most out-of-form players and start them all. Leave the best available centre mid on the bench and put a CB in their place.
Hopefully Valour live up to their reputation and Cavalry can get back on track. Or alternately due to #### talking the front 3 they will go back to the form they had in May.

I believe in the Jays.
Cavs win it at the death! 3 points on the road is always good but that was another very bad attacking performance.

That was less than exuberant but 3 points is 3 points. Take 'em and run.
How do you leave Camargo that wide open in front of goal? And credit to him for staying on-side.

Field and Camargo bail Cavalry out. Gonna have to raise the level significantly on Saturday if we want to get a result against Forge.

Yes, not the best effort, but with how things have gone this month has gone, they needed this

Is Montgomery the Cavs’ player of the season so far (Or Camargo?). At least the most consistent I would argue

He has been much improved but I'd argue Shome has been the most consistent player this year. Montgomery got undressed twice on the equalizer.

Shome is also a good shout but I think he took a month plus to get going at the beginning of the season. Either way, I don’t think it’s a good sign that we’re halfway through the year and there isn’t an attacking player anywhere near that conversation. They’ve been largely abysmal apart from a few stretches, and none can get going at the same time. Musse mostly just bad. Elva is a bust so far. Neither Henry or Herdman taking the jump that was hoped for. Hopefully Ntignee will provide a threat and create space for Tobi

Musse has regressed tremendously. He can barely beat anyone one on one anymore.

For me, Shome has been our most consistent player. He really anchors our midfield in the way that he breaks up play and gets us going in transition.
The other player that deserves consideration for me is Camargo. I think he’s been our most consistent attacker.

Sounds like Vancouver FC have finally fired Afshin Ghotbi. Couldn't believe how long he stuck around. That club has been a train wreck from day 1.

Not sure how to feel about the signing. Sellouf helps the attack, but he was poor last year. Was real good in 2023 though.
I don't mind the contract length through as he's only guaranteed through the end of the year. Low risk high upside.

What position is he likely to play?
