The Development Permit docs are up for Stampede Station.
https://dmap.calgary.ca/?p=DP2025-04119
Edit: I don't know how to read these plans properly, others saying the heights are 277.3m and 245.55m respectively.

Reason: Had the wrong heights from the original post.

I just updated. Heights are back up, apparently elevation grade plans start at a 100m mark and that caused some misinterpretation.

If these towers stay at the proposed heights, we will have some interesting skyline visuals for sure.

Maybe I shouldn't say this - but the censoring of the main floor plans on the DP file can easily be removed.

That's on the person who produced the PDF, if they didn't want it to be removed then they should have protected the PDF.
Looks kinda neat though.

Can't see a lot of detail from the DP drawings- but I can see that while the towers are a west tower and an east tower - the lobbies for the towers are a north and south lobby - and there appears to be no connection between them, at least on the main floor.
The North lobby is for the east tower, and the south lobby is for the west tower.

Having just lifted conditions on buying a new place (yay), I was poking around Realtor.ca for curiosity’s sake and happened to look at the Vetro and Sasso condos in Victoria Park beside the new Marriott towers.
HOOOO-LEE SHIIIIT LOL, they’re having a fire-sale in those buildings. 25 units for sale between the two towers. I have never seen that many properties for sale in those buildings at one time before.

New development proposed for East Village, on the site of where the East Village sales centre previously was.

Whatever happened to the globe/dome food court thing that was supposed to go in East Village?

That was the Bronconnier led one right? Right across the street from the Drop-In Centre, think that part probably explains why it didn't come to fruition. Riding past that area twice daily I can confidently say it's like a war zone sadly. Any development there would face issues constantly.

Yeah there's no viable use for that triangle lot, apart from maybe something like a police station.
Frankly, even this Lyric proposal feels like a dicey financial decision. Unless there is some crazy discount, and/or you're really playing the long game... I just don't see why anyone would buy into a location so close to the DIC, when there are so many other good options without the risk. The towers directly above the Superstore ave been having a tough time filling up, and I doubt this will be much different.
