Admittedly it is a bit weird for a home opener, but I'm guessing it's part of a triple header of some sort.

Hopefully not too many people will be out of town for the home opener. It’s the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m subscribed in apple calendar. Still blank. Might be an issue at the source.

A friend of mine shared this with me. Paste it into Notepad and save as a .csv file. Then open in Excel.

In theory, I could book the 5am flught out of Sydney. Arrive in Calgary at 10:12am. I could then go straight to the Saddledome. Watch the game. Leave the Dome and go back to the airport to board a 1:10am flight and arrive back in Sydney at 3:48pm.

$736 for airfare. Plus cost of the Flames ticket and public transport. A couple of bucks for food and a few more dollars for beer.

In theory, that could work... in thoery...

2pm on a Saturday is dumb. Maybe move games to Sunday instead.

You aren't aware that every game involves building availability and travel for one or both teams that's tied into games before and after that are tied into games before or after that and tied into games that are before or after those games and on and on?

They don't consider Paulie's need to roam Chinook Mall on Saturday afts.

Not everyone is living the good life with 4 days off of a week like tfr. Bottles popping bring fed grapes as you watch your games.

Thanks Ken0042 for getting me going. Here is the one that I built. Copy and paste into Notepad, Save as .csv, Open in Excel and finish formatting for aesthetics.

Spoiler!

Nice, it never clicked to me that the home opener is on thanksgiving weekend. Knowing that now I'll clear my schedule for the Saturday and day drink knowing I have the extra recovery day!

I’m hoping that return flight was a typo or sounds like you’re in for a multi-stop adventure.

No decent weekend road trips this season. Two in a row. Sucks.
