Yup, Cavalry didn't show up against the worst pro club in the country and got knocked out. Forge beat an MLS club in both legs.

Draw for the semifinals is in.
Whitecaps / Valour vs Forge in the first semifinal. Winner of that series hosts the final. Ottawa vs Vancouver in the other semifinal.
Vancouver FC were desperate for a home match against Whitecaps and they didn't get it. RIP

I was momentarily losing my mind when Valour scored late and that match was headed towards penalties. "Could there be 4 CPL clubs in the semi final and Cavalry not one of them?!" No, Whitecaps score and move along. Now hopefully they dispatch of Forge and Vancouver beats Ottawa so they get their Lower Mainland derby

Exceedingly disappointed. They were awful in Langley and not much better in Calgary. Squandered a fantastic opportunity with 2 of 3 MLS clubs out of the picture and having favorable draw with the worst CPL team.
Watch Forge win the Cup and forever gloat over us as the first CPL side to win it.
Side note, loved watching my kids freaking out over PKs like it was Croatia in a major tournament final. They were 100% invested. I'm pretty sure that is the first professional PK shootout I've ever attended.

Shootouts are almost more fun at the CPL level because the shooters and goalies have such variety in quality.

We are really lacking any creativity or drive forward from our midfield. Tobias has to drop deep to provide the creativity, but he’s also the only real goal threat.
Vancouver down to 10 now, hopefully we can find a goal.
