D+77, D+80 and OTD83 are the best ones now to balance cleanup vs original theatrical.

I watched a great movie To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar. The movie stars Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo as 3 drag queens on their way from New York to California. While on their way the car breaks down in a small town and the 3 have to stay a couple of days. I had a great time with the film, the script was fantastic and I thought it was hilarious and heartwarming as well.

There are an endless number of nods to F1 that a fan will appreciate and just as many faults they’ll roll their eyes at.
Hard to compare to Rush or Ford vs Ferrari because those were very different movies. Dramas that featured car racing. This is pure adrenaline.
The 2 1/2 hours flew by. There are a handful things that if changed I’d rate the movie a perfect 10 but even with its flaws I’m happy to give it an 8.5.
I can’t wait to see what Kosinski’s next project is.

100% on the aburdity, but i was all for it in the moment. haha. I was highly entertained. It felt like watching Days of Thunder or Top Gun back in the day. Hell, Gran Turismo was very similar, but just not as well executed as this.
Speaking of Days of Thunder... i heard a rumor that they are putting together a script to join Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise... in a Days of Thunder / F1 crossover. Basic premise is they were rivals or something when they were kids in kart days, and then it comes together in the present.
Excuse me while I go to the washroom.... I will be the first in line for this movie if it comes out. lol

I watched Cape Fear for the first time last night. Saw it advertised on Netflix and threw it on not expecting anything. Crazy movie.. what a performance from De Niro.
Also turns of Scorsese is helping produce a Cape Fear TV series for Apple. I'm on board.

The original is good, too. I prefer the 1991 version.

The Hand That Rocks the Cradle is another good one form the era along a similar theme.

As far as kids movies go I actually didn't mind Kpop - Demon hunters. Pretty entertaining and the music is catchy. That being said my kids have watched it/listened to the album on repeat since it came out so I've had enough lol.

Thanks, I didn't even know about these ones. They look very close to Harmy's versions, but Harmy was meticulous in removing every single change that Lucas made to the re-releases no matter how small, so some scenes were worse quality because he had to go back to the film print. Looks like the D+/OTD versions only care about the big changes and let the smaller stuff slide that most people wouldn't notice, so the quality is higher throughout
Guess I have another OT re-watch to do

I watched 'Bring Her Back' the follow up movie from the brothers that made A24's 'Talk To Me'
The first half was really promising and felt very similar to hereditary and the second half was average at best.
I'd give it a 3.5/5 worth a watch but nothing spectacular. I had really high hopes for this one and it felt slightly underwhelming.
