I mean they drafted a guy who set all time scoring records as a dman in the OHL, a guy who was 5th in PPG in the Q and a guy who put up 90 points in his D+1 year in the OHL but ya, disappointment and general incompetence is Craig’s bread and butter.

The joke isn't funny, its old and tired. If you are a Flames fan that is "senior" then the joke is that much more flat.
I get debating based on draft picks, trade options and GM decisions but mocking the team using a reddit subthread joke is just weak.

Back to good opinions and ideas based on players to trade, picks to use and hopefully a good 84 game season to come.

Flames pick twice in the first round, have D man most agree should be traded and a handful of other teams want him.
Draft starts in an hour and change.
Morale is at an all time low.

Even if Andersson isn’t traded today there is still day 2 OR during the off-season. Ekblad is a big factor on why some teams may be reluctant to trade for Andersson. They want the extension and that cannot happen until July 1.

Isn't next years draft supposed to be better anyways? I think many people are forgetting a Raz trade can involve a 2026 pick. I get people are wound up in the hype around this years draft with it being today, but let's remember a lot will happen between now and July 1.

I don't know if we should be tying Anderssons date to what happens with Ekblad. Ekblad is going to get vastly overpaid July 1st or stay in FLA. The only way Razz should be tied is if Conroy thinks he can get Lundell and has him at the top of his list.
