The yard looks fine. I like a big yard and this appears to be about twice as big as the typical suburban yard that you would find down in McKenzie Towne or Auburn Bay and that's not including the covered patio space.

If I'm rich, I'm not going for a "typical suburban yard" size. I'd cut that house by half, use intelligent/thoughtful space design inside, and build an amazing outdoor space. Though maybe they're worried the plebs might come see them/kidnap them.

Whatever happened to the lady that tried selling raffle tickets for her house in Millarville? People had to pay $20 and write a letter to her explaining why they should be given the home. Last I heard it had conveniently burned down after the raffle was deemed illegal (I think)? Just curious how that all played out and where she’s at now

Sipping Pina Coladas in Florida whilst lounging upon a bed made of insurance money?

Doesn't Decathlon sell some of the cheapest sporting equipment around? Didn't think of them as a premium retailer.

Not to pile on, but imo Decathlon will be a huge loss if it closes for exactly this reason. There's lots of places to buy expensive gear, but if you want inexpensive gear for your kid to try something new you can't beat them, imo

That's a huge blow. Those are ALL five stores in the GTA, and the only remaining one in Ontario will be in Ottawa. Not a great sign for Canada's most populous city/province, a logistics hub, etc. If you can't make it there....
Decathlon is a great store. My kid recently went on a grade 8 sailing trip and needed lots of stuff, and that place was a life saver. And maybe I'll change my opinion in a few years when things start to fall apart, but my initial impression is that the quality is pretty damn good, especially at the price point.
Long live Decathlon!
