If they're looking for an anthropomorphic Jewish protector made of clay or mud in Middle Earth I dont fancy their chances of finding him.
They'd have better luck finding Gollum.

There's also a six movie deal for Where's Waldo.

I never heard about that. I understand someone has pitched a Jack Black and Vin Diesel buddy-cop movie where they're hunting down Carmen Sandiego.

Got to plug Jaws on the date of its 50th Anniversary.
It's rare to come across someone that hasn't seen it. And if you are one of those people, go watch it.

Do they do these kinds of viewings anymore?

Could Jurassic Park face plant at the box office? It’s currently tracking to potentially open lower than the F1 movie. And at about half of the projected numbers for Superman.
Jurassic Park could open at around 70 million, F1 around the same. Superman could be as high as 150 million.
Actually wouldn’t be too upset if this Jurassic Park movie failed horribly and caused them to reset and rethink that franchise. To me it’s tired and boring and I have absolutely no desire to go watch the new one. Even though it looks better than the last two or three. I’m so tired of all these mutated dinosaurs.
RT scores on the F1 movie are really strong and I’m really excited to see it on the big screen. I don’t really care how unrealistic it is or how generic the plot is. Similar to top gun Maverick I’m in this for a simple fun story and blow your socks off visuals and sound.

It's because they lost the entire science fiction element of the story and have turned them into glorified dinohorror movies.

Not sure it was that. The mutant stuff kept the sci-fi element, albeit in a goofy way. They were just a mixed bag of everything that's been done before but executed much worse. Just a big, messy bag of modern movie s### thrown at the wall in hopes something would stick.
Fallen Kingdom was kind of a dinohorror with an awful plot. World was a pale CG-heavy imitation of the first, and Dominion was hardly even a cohesive film but more of a series of skits revolving through different dino cameos that leaned on nostalgia bait and aggressively squandered the legendary cast of the oridignal with some garbage about locusts.
The previews of this one do reek of its later predecessors unfortunately. Rex scenes look fun, but the sea dinos and egg/nest hunting looks stupid. Dialogue also wasn't encouraging.
I also hate when characters are caricature-y representations of obvious cliches i.e. "neurotic scientist guy" and 'over-confident, indomitable military chick" with absolutely no grey area to create anything interesting about them.
The franchise name is enough to attract a core audience but this one definitely is going to to take a hit unless by some miracle against all odds it's decent.

Yesterday I watched my favorite vampire movie Lost Boys. If your looking for the perfect summer horror movie this is the one. It's probably in my top 5 horror movies ever. Everything just works so well, and the the song Cry Little Sister will now be stuck in my head all weekend.

Totally enjoyable. Great story. Lots of things happen. You'll always get something unique from Boyle.

I was 13 when I first saw Lost Boys, and I can still remember thinking how cool the Santa Carla (Santa Cruz) boardwalk looked. I wanted to be at that amazing beach party and have Jamie Gertz notice me in the crowd.

Don’t watch “Ring of Bright Water” or “Kes.” Oldies and saddies. Saw them decades ago and just thinking about them brings tears.

I cannot find anyone to watch this with so I'm going alone this afternoon. Wife certainly not interested. Danny Boyle never sucks, never. Hell I took my mother to a one man play Filth and she loved it. That was a crazy book.

The Wild Robot was really good. Thought it was going to be a cheesy kid movie, but turned out to be a well made easy watch.
Final Destinations Bloodlines was really good too.
