Propp never lost 5 consecutive Finals, I think Perry is the only player to ever accomplish that.

			Unfortunately it’s 5 in 6 not 5 consecutive he missed 2023.
Still hilarious and makes him one of the greatest losers of all time.

Perry and Oiler hate aside, Perry is a player every team wanting to go deep, should target. He's not a first line player as he was positioned on the Oil, but he's a guy who drives to the net and does the dirty plays that are a long lost art in front of goaltenders. It doesn't have to necessarily be him, but a guy like Tage Thompson has that same capability because of his size. Kadri would be so much more valuable if he planted himself there at times.

If they want to lose in the finals, I guess

Haha, oh man, that 5 year thing is quite the stat. Anyway, all Edmonton jokes aside, imagine him on Colorado's bottom two lines? Or Carolina? Both those teams have skill, but they're missing that occasional scrub.

Exactly. And McDavid's biggest asset is his speed, which will start declining come 30+.

No doubt Perry is a piece of ####, but imo carried the languid oilers around at times when it got tough this playoffs. Without him they'd have been swept in the florida series. I agree with bluejays, contenders are going to be horny over him this summer. Marchand also performing so well is a similar booster to value.

While I agree...so what? He's getting older, just like everyone else he got ridden hard and put away wet last season, thats a lot of mileage.

How much longer can he keep it up?

If he can keep it up...do Edmonton try and get something for him? Can they? Does anyone else actually want him?

And if I'm Marchand? I'm taking whatever Florida offers to stay because I think they're going to the Dance again next season.
