That seems like a baseless accusation towards the Stampede.

They know how much the city loves John & the family, but personally - I dont know how they did it. Paraded around the league while putting on some real brave faces while trying to grieve their sons.

Lets let them rest, and actually have time to grieve in private outside of the public eye.

Salem County Superior Court Judge Michael Silvanio heard arguments April 15 from prosecutors and attorneys for Sean Higgins about several issues related to the charges Higgins faces and what evidence a jury would potentially be able to hear.

Higgins will continue to be held in the New Jersey jail where he has been housed since his arrest on the night of the crash.

Another court date is scheduled for June.

Meredith penned a letter to Johnny on the Players Tribune.

Just... beautiful, tragic, sad, refreshing, and everything all in one.

We were so lucky to have him. But my heart breaks again for his children. Her resilience and composure through it all though, and also getting insight into her life has brought even more perspective and respect for the both of them as a couple and as a family.

I got through the whole letter without shedding a tear, til the end. I started to get the lump in my throat and the tears came. Being a father, my heart hurts.

So much truth in those words. I'm glad Johnny was able to spend what time he had remaining with his family closer to him.
