Feels like this was the one they had to steal. Forsling and Tkachuk just waiting for surgery at this point. Hell of a fight though.

Team destiny with all the dives, refs and horseshoes.

I’ve officially given up.

It’s over. Nothings going to get in the way if their cup now.

#### me.

Maybe if the Oilers win a Cup it will motivate the Flames to do more than simply try and make the playoffs in a wildcard seed.

Are these teams being paid off or threatened into just not trying?

Odd to hear they let up.

To say no chance after one OT win is just silly though...why even have 7 game series?

This is the Oilers' year, they've caught every break imaginable and never seem to go away, pretty easy to be resigned to that considering they've now won 13 of 15 against teams that were uniformly favoured against them

It really feels like this series is over. I've never seen teams give up over and over again when leading going into the 3rd.

This has to be some voodoo crap.

Cats were also down 2-0 to the Leafs and everyone was counting them out and fantasy drafting pick #21 already and look how that turned out.

All I'm saying is don't count them out just yet.

You see kids, how far you can get in life when you have no ethics, hire rape cover-up artists, alleged wife beaters, alleged alcoholics who sleep around with the organization's family, and win a draft lottery, how far you can go.

It's all so easy!

Panthers still have a chance.

But giving the Oilers no credit at this point is just as silly.

The Kings had them on the ropes before they figured their game out, and let them off the hook.

Since then they dominated a good Vegas team.

Dominated a good Stars team.

And played pretty even tonight against a Panthers team that has dominated most of the teams they've played.

Oilers are a good team, and the Panthers look a bit exhausted to me, which probably isn't surprising with it being their third straight finals for the core of that team.

At this point right now the Oilers have to be the favourites. Hopefully Florida can find another gear, but the Oilers team is playing a smothering team game and has the game breakers to finish still. It's a tough combo to beat.

You didn't watch the third you said. I have never seen anything like this. A team goes from looking great to folding come the 3rd period and overtime.

Every time against this team like wtf. They stopped hitting too.

I don’t think the pigs are getting lucky. They have their two lottery ball stars, goaltending has been acceptable and they are somehow getting full lineup contributions and defence. They look great and resting Kane, McP**sy and Draisaitl worked well.
Just depends how panthers respond now. They were hard on the oilers for two periods. Not sure what happened

Excuses and giving up! game was a coin flip. They can still get a split and be in the drivers seat.

Voldemort Katz must have hostages in the basement of his new Katzing Couch digs. Would explain a thing or two.

Let my loser team win or they get it!

Really? But...why?
Getting outskated, outworked, losing puck battles, slow getting to loose pucks, having trouble clearing the zone, blown assignments, etc.

How many more years of being here will it take you to understand nobody gives a about what they do? This is CALGARYPuck. Those bitches up north can win the next twenty cups and they’ll still get (and deserve) zero credit from Flames fans.

Bag of players on a bag of team in a bag of city with bag of fans.

Because Flames making it to the 2nd round only twice since 2004, and also only winning 2 games isn't motivation enough.

Meanwhile in that timespan, Oilers have made it to the finals 3 times. Despite the decade is darkness, Oilers have been by far the better franchise than the Flames the past two decades.

Flames need to get their #### together and finally build a core that can win consistently. Hopefully with Conroy as GM that gets done. Bring some respect back to the franchise.

I think what he means is that despite the Oilers looking defeated at times, they always find a way back. Almost like this is a highly motivated team that will not give up and is trying desperately to avenge last year's defeat in the finals. That's a very tough opponent to beat.

Florida needs to not let their foot off the gas for them to have a chance. Yes, they have the most mileage out of any NHL team right now, but if they want to repeat as champs and spoil this dominant stretch of play from the Oilers, they have to play a 60 minute game. Anything less and they'll be the next Kings, Golden Knights or Stars.

There was no doubt that was a penalty, but that’s still the usual chicken #### story of everything breaking the Oilers way. It’s their entire playbook, just hang around long enough and a PP is inevitably coming.

Words just don’t describe how much I hate that team and that city.
