Game was even...shots, chances, even, expected goals Dallas actually had a slight advantage. Oilers got a couple odd goals, Stars didn't bury any of their chances.
Even I didn't expect a sweep...if the Stars are gonna win in 6 Edmonton has to win two somewhere

Well, the Stars' MO this playoff has been win one, lose one, win one, lose one, at the end of both series, they came out on top. And they got shutout twice by Winnipeg too but still beat them in six games. So, there's something to look forward to?

There's gonna be another 3 corkscrews on this rollercoast before all's said and done so maybe calibrate your hysteria.
Stars bounced back a couple of times in that Avs series when I counted them out. They're inconsistent but also very resilient and can go from 0-100 offensively.
Gonna be a seesaw affair.

Bro. It’s not the loss, it’s the loss while being shutout by an AHL goalie giving up 5v5s to Kulak and Brown.

I mean Kulaks shot gets blocked and bounces right back to him, Dallas fans on an EN...bounces happen
and don't bro me, its called a playoff series and its 1-1 not my first rodeo. Freaking out is pretty dumb, it wasn't likely gonna be a sweep.

Has benn been doing anything? Haven’t watched. He’s always such a dirty scumbag, perfect for this series, but last year he was invisible against the grease pigs. Sounds like a repeat so far.
Was hoping Dallas would go up 2-0 because the pigs will get a boost at home.

Generally speaking, in the last two playoffs players inexplicably stop living up to their career-long reputations as soon as they face Edmonton.
They transform into obscure, faceless NPCs.

I think Skinner/Pickard #### the bed at home.
Much easier to perform at American Airlines center than in front of their s### stained sweatpants-wearing mob that just blew their whole paychecks on Bobby Nich's overpriced grub and 50/50 tickets.

Agreed. But I can understand scorers not being able to score in the playoffs due to matchups etc…but there is really nothing stopping him from just sucker punching draisaitl really hard in the face.

The worrisome part is Skinner is very inconsistent but when he gets hot he can look great.
He's now at .927 in the 4 games since returning to the lineup and has 3 shutouts.
Stars lines still annoy me too.

The catholic church would scoot Pope Leo aside and swear in Jamie Benn immediately.

The Stars look uninspiring and not on the same page at all. Last game they somehow came back, I have no idea how, but man do they look disjointed outside that first line.
Maybe Dallas finds a way to win this series but I'm going to hang my hat on the Panthers to take the Oilers out.

Honestly aggregate sv% is more meaningless here than even usual
It is binary, and has to do with team D
He has 7 games. 4 he allowed 4 goals plus, 3 have been shutouts.

The Oilers were the better team tonight. The Stars got schooled.
Yes, the chances evened up a bit near the end when the game was already over. But when it was still a game, the Stars embarrassed themselves.

It’s ride or die on skinner. You need to make it hard for him. The Stars did not.

Not really, no.
I've just accepted that the Panthers are the last hope. They definitely have a chance, they aren't a loser team like Dallas.
And if you looked at my post history I have been saying all playoffs this stars team is complete crap. The Avs would have destroyed the Oilers. But because the Stars have the Avs number, we are stuck cheering this loser team now. When we all know they will lose.
