Am I missing something here or are teams ignoring/forgetting how to beat the Oilers?

LA had the right strategy for 2 games, then multiple periods in the next 2 games, but completely choked it away after giving the Oilers time and space, power plays, and they stopped their aggressive forecheck. Essentially playing not to lose.

Vegas for the most part had subpar goaltending and team defense, except in game 5 where their goaltending was fine, but they couldn’t score.

Now Dallas?

Is the West that weak of a conference?

This is what I was saying earlier. I wonder if it’s a strategy to try and preserve their energy through a long playoffs.

I’ll only be worried if Dallas loses both in Edmonton. Otherwise 2-2 with 2/3 home games I think they’re in good shape.
