Wasn't sure about the Jones pickup. He's been a liability for years.

Eh, might make us uncomfortable for 2 weeks, but would be 10x better if Leafs were to win that match up. Come on, they haven't won since '67.

They've never even won 3 series, they only won the cup in the Original 6 era where you needed to win 2 series to win.
And they've never been to a finals in the modern era since expansion.
Leafs would be the easy choice over the Oilers

Goaltending in these playoffs has been terrible across the board.
Why do I feel like Wolf wouldn't drop off like these other goalies have.

Have to say I thought the panthers would take it to the leafs. Series is far from over, but expected at least a split in the first two games.

Woll is a future star goaltender, but not having played for so long looks pretty nervous in his movements from side to side.
Leafs are playing really well. The Florida team reminds me a lot of Boston in their prime. We could be seeing a team in their primes who are aging quickly if they don't develop more young guys to take over from the Marchand's. That's where Boston went wrong - relied on the aging vets which was all good until it wasn't.

Panthers kind of have taken it to them. Leafs have just capitalized on a few rushes.
Look like the Oilers.

Watching the Panthers furiously cycle the puck in the Toronto end all night while generating only dud or missed shots is kind of agonizing.

Holy smokes! Was so upsetting watching the Leafs constantly ice the puck at the end there. Nice they got the win. I have high hopes for 22OA.
