That and the GOP congress not actually doing their job. The security threat is supposed to be a very temporary measure until congress can act, verify the threat and pass legislation. But they just lay there doing nothing.

I’ve had to cut down on my news/YouTube viewing quite a bit as my anxiety levels were getting berserk. Love Ben and all the guys at Meidas, etc. but had to take a break.
I do check in daily with Chris Norlund though. He’s very calm and measured in his delivery. Hard to believe he’s 50 and was one of the infants injured in an Operation Babylift plane crash jn 1975.
Other than that, have to limit my viewing. I live too close to Mar a Lago to let myself go over the edge lol.

Carney worked at Goldman Sachs, was finance minister in Canada, and ran the Bank of England, so he's a pretty important figure in the world of finance. Those are some of the only people Trump actually respects, so it makes sense he has much more praise for him than Trudeau. It's also another big reason why I'm glad Carney won, Trump probably sees PP as nothing more than a sycophant and would have walked all over him

Every piece of Trump news since Jan has been pathetic and sickening, the first time I actually got some enjoyment out of this dumpster fire was with orange baboon tweeting out the photoshopped pic of him as the pope. The church and the catholics are perhaps the only group I despise as much as Trump. Go ahead, tear eachother apart, they're both disgusting.

Would Trump leading the Catholic church make it any more hypocritical than it already is? They seem to be in agreement on things like not caring about sexual abuse by figures in power, top down leadership, indoctrination, equality...maybe Trump was right on this one. Nothing would change except the Church might go back to crusading a bit more.

Carney was Governor of the Bank of Canada, not finance minister. He was nominated by Harper though.

I think a lot of people respected Pope Francis the individual because it seemed like he tried his best to snuff out corruption and abuse (Cardinal Becciu story), as well as his apparent commitment to humility and inclusion.
The AI picture of Trump as pope right after the funeral of the widely respected actual pope, was in bad taste. But just add it to the mountain of things Trump has done that were in bad taste. At least he's not marching troops into Rome.

Anyway now there's this.

She did not try to hide him. She directed him out another door that led to the same hallway the agents were in. Legal Eagle had a good look at all the evidence. This was a substantial break from protocol, and she did not want it to happen in her courtroom. The other point that was made is that if this becomes the normal practice, then immigrants will not show up at court when they are supposed to, which is a much worse outcome.

As you say, there were ICE agents in the hallway and one even went down the elevator as him. They screwed up, not her.

Thing is - the Act which allows him to tariff based on emergencies specifically excludes tariffs on media, including movies. It's called the Berman Amendment (which came up recently vis-a-vis Tik-Tok).

Priests shagging porn stars is defiantly an improvement on them buggering alter boys (well perhaps not for the Porn Stars)

Looks like supply shortages reminiscent of COVID are coming to the states in the coming months thanks to dear leader's pointless trade war.
There's a latency effect to these things, but summer will all but assuredly come with empty shelves and higher prices at local retailers and potentially pharmacies. A lot of logistics/port truckers are also cutting staff and selling off.
Soon MAGAs won't be able to escape nor deny the new reality they've helped to create.
It also sounds like Canada who exports over a billion dollars in toilet paper (and more specifically wood pulp which goes into TP) may make life harder for the US in that regard if negotiations don't go smoothly.
At least the mad TP rush will be justified this time.

Similar to how the Mormans setup Native Americans to take the blame for killings and massacres, someone needs to flood the internet with Trump/Muhamed photoshops and let it play out.
