I hope the denizens of the MAGAverse die of the bird flu epidemic they will do nothing to prevent or control.
I’m no longer interested in being the “bigger person.”

Watching an interview with Trump this morning on Meet the Press he was actually somewhat normal at times. Said he's in office only for four years and that he wasn't going to run in 2028. He still says that he'd love Canada to join the U.S. but he wouldn't try to force the issue. He did not rule out using military force on Greenland though. Also said the U.S. will always defend Canada militarily but it bothers him that Canada expects it (paraphrasing). Had good things to say about Carney and he roasted Trudeau as usual.

He also continued to double down on his completely fabricated “200 billion” trade deficit crap when talking about Canada. Not sure where he ever got that number from. I’m sure he just pulled it out of his ass one day while sitting on his golden toilet. But he sure loves to repeat it.

I can't help but wonder if Carney has some dirt on him, or maybe he knows that Carney understands things about business and trade that Trump could never hope to understand. His tone with Carney compared to Trudeau and even PP is drastically different.

He also said he didnt know if he had to uphold the Constitution.
And that he claims just the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy
"We're gonna have a big beautiful parade. We're gonna celebrate our military. We have the greatest military in the world. We have the great missiles in the world. The greatest submarines. The greatest army tanks in the world. We have the great weapons in the world & we're gonna celebrate it" And as to the price tag? "Peanuts compared to the value of doing it.”
So it was only a normal interview if you ignore the crazy crap he says, he gets graded on the most unbelievable curve. Slightly normal mixed with a bag of crazy...is still a big bag of crazy.

I worked some sales jobs back in the 90's and one of the things I noticed was the best sales guys were weirdly stupid but smart at the same time, they had the ability to believe themselves when they were lying, they would turn it on like a switch, but once the sale was over they would laugh at how stupid the customer was, they were all incredibly arrogant but were also easy marks for other sales rubbish, they would get sucked into pyramid schemes or obvious stock scams.
I think Trump has that ability to believe what he says even though he knows its rubbish really
It was a bit scary and convinced me to move on, they were classic sociopaths, movies have taught us that they are smart but the reality is sociopaths are generally lazy have little ability to apply themselves much and so are rarely bright

And another quote from today
Trump: "If Canada was a state, it wouldn't cost us. It would be great. It would be a cherished state ... I don't think the American public wants me to pay $250 billion a year to subsidize Canada ... we do very little business with Canada."
He is dangerously stupid.

“We do very little business with Canada.”
Lol, we’re only their biggest and most important trading partner. The sad part is that the hardcore MAGA cult hears this nonsense and automatically believes it. His base is that dumb.

Better make sure the Rock was fully made in America, or it's getting tariff'd.

Pretty big news. The Signal clone the Trump administration uses was just hacked. TeleMessage makes a modified version of Signal that archives messages for government agencies, Waltz used it. A hacker got some users' messages, group chats.

Isn't something being a "national security threat" how he gets away with ruling by executive order?
