He can’t ask questions in question period. So he loses the sound bit opportunity he is “effective” at. He will have to function like Nenshi does and rely on press conferences to cover his criticisms.
They could also get someone in a safe seat to resign to allow him to run but that probably takes a few months.

I wonder if this could still be a majority. Currently 7 seats away and the late votes in most ridings from the advance vote seems to be liberal. Probably flipping that many more seems unlikely but can see that there are still 26 undeclared ridings where the Conservatives are leading by small margins. 23 where the Liberals are leading by small margins so could even go a bit more the other way.

Sohi lost in Edmonton. Certainly Carney had him pencilled in for a Cabinet position. He's been awful as mayor, not at all surprised he lost the riding to the Conservatives. Hopefully Sohi is ousted as mayor next!

Not a Kenney fan at all, but I’d take him over Marlaina any day. He just teed off on MAGA, Trump, and the PPC, and said MAGAs are fringe and are not welcome in the Conservative Party here.
