I am glad Wolf isn't going. Opposing shooters can't get into his head in practice and figure out any weaknesses.

Oh.. what am I saying. There are none. He is the Wolf after all.

Waaay back I think they did release Rico Fata to play when he wasn't really being used much in the NHL.

If Parehk isn't playing much and is in the NHL, I do not think the Flames would stop him from playing. But if like Tkachuck or Monahan he's a regular in the lineup...he will stay with the NHL club.
I'm old enough to remember the Flames lending Peplinski to the 88 Olympic team when pros were allowed to go but there wasn't a break and NHLers weren't generally going.

yeah those were the days, they were a President's trophy winning team that scored 397 goals (the most ever by a team without either Gretzky or Orr on it) and could just give up a 20 goal scorer for a few weeks without even noticing he was gone

More wins than losses for a Seattle team that finished 20 points back of the playoffs, and a SPCT above league average.

Je suis d'accord (not because of his on ice play).

His dad is Canadian, his mother is Swiss and he was born in the US. Choses to play for the US.

Who said anything about Wolf? Just commenting on a post saying Daccord sucks. They take 3 goalies. I'm pretty sure that Daccord making it, doesn't mean Wolf shouldn't have.

It has everything to do with Wolf. There are 3 spots, but 2 in reality (one guy will eat popcorn the whole time, unless there is an injury). Swayman was a given. By taking Daccord, they effectively chose him over Wolf, because Wolf isn't interested in being the 3rd goalie.

So yeah, it isn't just a question of whether Daccord is worthy, it's a question of whether he is more worthy than Wolf.

Yeah, though there's a fair bit of room between "Wolf should be at least backup over D'Accord" and "D'Accord sucks".

Why is Swayman a given? Terrible season. They could have easily picked Wolf over Swayman.

When Satan calls, it's best to respond with a yes.

Good for Honzek, but so far very weak roster for Slovakia this year; right now almost no NHL players, although of course guys like Slajkovksy and Nemec could become free soon.

I believe that even though Dvorsky's AHL team has been eliminated, the expectation is he will be called up to St. Louis.
