Just saw highlights. Anderson/Wilson scuffle in the bench was wild. Wilson is a hell of a player but then he does that mocking thing and I just wish he’d eat a slap shot in the face. The slo mo of his face doesn’t do him any favours. Loser. And I like the
Caps.

LT going down is a problem. Though lindgren is a capable backup.
I like the habs too (not some of their classless fans) .

Love the passion and the effort tonight. Concerned about Montembault. He’s an important member of this team.

Top line gets full marks. Caps chased out of the building in the 3rd. Keep it going, boys!

He’s a teenager who’s been there for a week. Still miles better than Laine.

What???!!! Montreal would never do that trade because of the years left on Huberdeau's contract vs Laine's. You seriously wouldn't trade for ONE YEAR of Patrick Laine to get rid of one of the worst, long term contracts in the league?

I actually really like Huberdeau and am fine with what he brings to our rebuilding teams, but that take is absolutely insane.

Huberdeau's contract doesnt hurt the Flames at all right now...and probably won't for a while.

Montembault is important but Dobes looks really really good. People here love Wolf for good reason and may not have noticed this guy so much. But oh my. He is good. I have been impressed

Huberdeau is a good player. Laine is bad for the room and the chemistry. There is a reason every team who acquires him is looking to offload him in short order

Okay, trade for him and then buy him out. It's a lot better than the Huberdeau contract and cap hit. If you were a cold calculator of a GM, it would make sense.

I just don't see Conroy doing that. He values the humanistic element of management too much.

What caused the massive brawl at the end of the period?

Sure, but do that in order to acquire assets. Take him with a 2nd or whatever, eat a bunch of his salary, then flip him for another pick.

But trading Huberdeau for Laine sends a terrible message to the room.

I was thinking the same thing last night.

Firstly that I had never seen anything like that before. With them fighting on the bench and the ref getting caught up in it too.

Secondly that Wilson is quite a physical force but also seems like such a hair trigger nutbar. Just like when he was mocking Andersson earlier this year in the penalty box. He doesn’t seem like he’s all there upstairs.

Huberdeau is overpaid by like 4M, if that...Flames aren't in need of cap space anytime soon and he is actually a contributing member of the team.

Could be the battle of the back up goalies for game four. Lindgren is a former Hab. Both teams have nothing to worry about with them in net, they are decent.

Thompson expected to start. Astonishing recovery from a guy who looked done on Friday night. Montembeault day to day.

Tune into SN early for the Habs/Caps and they’re comparing McDavid to Michael Jordan.

#### right off.

Brutal. Kings coach doesn’t make a stupid challenge and they may just be down 3-0

Can the kings fire the coach before piuck drop.

Dougherty and Kopitar your legacy is on the line. You lose this series and we are taking those cups from you.
