Habs in 7. Every year there's a huge upset in the first round, and I'm thinking this will be it. The Caps spent so much emotional energy on Ovi's chase for the scoring record, and now that that's done, maybe they don't have as much hunger as they otherwise would have.

Still up for grabs technically! Would be neat to see CBJ get in but it will also be cool to see the Habs in with that crowd.

Regardless of who gets in, Caps are a team that could be upset in Round 1 and thats what I'm saying here. Habs or CBJ in 7 over Washington.

To me the Caps feel a bit like a Cinderella (despite winning the East). They were awful last year and everyone said they'd be finished this year. They clearly used that as motivation, and the record chase made it fun.

They might go all the way.
