LF - New Home Construction Inspection

Hello,

Has anyone used an inspector to inspect their home during construction (ie. after framing, predrywall, etc) and any recommendations in Calgary?

Depending upon the type of contract you have, it is pretty rare the builder will let you do so while construction is ongoing.

Our builder welcomes a 2nd set of eyes as long as inspections are coordinated so we don't hold up the project.

there is a gent named Marty Keough, owner of 'Nook and Cranny' Home inspections - he posts some really good videos on IG of various framing/pre boarding home inspections that he does in the calgary and surrounding area. Seems to know his craft very well, some of the crap work he picks up is astonishing

We actually just hired him for his phased inspections (starting with foundation). Wife found him on instagram. We were pretty thorough picking our builder (small innercity custom home builder) so curious what he will find.
