You may as well trade Wolf for the tank crowd, This kid ain't letting this team get into bottom 10 while he improves year after year.

Stick Wolf on the Ducks and they might still be in the same spot. Gibson was shellacked last night.

It's not like the Flames have faded in the second half. Since game 42 for all teams they're tied with Vegas for the the 7th best points percentage in the Conference. Winnipeg is first, Dallas is 2nd, and St.Louis and Colorado are tied for 3rd, and the Kings and Oilers are 5 and 6.

Minnesota is a team that's faded thus far after being like the 3rd best in the first half. But they need to start dropping games in regulation here. St.Louis has made up 14 points on their in the last 37 games just to more or less draw even.

What happened with the penalty on Klapkas breakaway? The highlights weren’t very helpful in figuring out what the call was and who it was on. Anyone know?

The most points earned in the standings by a NHL team without reaching the playoffs is 96 points by the Boston Bruins (USA) during the 2014–2015 season, and equalled by the Florida Panthers in 2017-18 and the Montreal Canadiens in 2018-19.

Another weak call, if his stick doesn't implode, they probably don't even see it. It's a play that happens 100 times a game. Wasn't vicious or anything more like a tap.

The officiating was awful, Ron McLean would be proud.

I did on Monday. I'd rather they scored 4 against Edmonton.

Yeah it almost looked like the Ducks player just ran into him and stick shattered. They both looked confused.

Except if it was against his Oilers.

Will echo what others have said: tremendous games from Frost, Kadri and Coleman. I thought it might have ben Backlund's best game since the break.

And Klapka looks like he is emerging into a legit middle six beast-winger.

Coleman has struggled all year, but the last 5 games or so has been really quite good. Seems to have his legs back.

Yup, and actually started getting results a couple games ago, but the refs were having none of it.

Finally rewarded.

Random thought:

I am not a fan of the Blasty jerseys personally, but I understand that some are, and that it's nice to have more than one kit, over the course of the year.

But if you're going to use them, please, for the love of god, wear them on nights when you're hosting ANA and DET. The reds are the nicest jerseys in the league, but the Blastys would be perfect against other teams that are red or orange based.

Great win last night. Regardless of whether they make the playoffs or not winning is always better for a franchise than losing.
