Just an observation.

Klapka is figuring out what he’s supposed to be. Which is a big deal.

Flames have done eveything you could possibly expect...a 10th place team suddenly setting a franchise record for wins (a team that started in the ####ing 60s) down the stetch is the only thing keeping them out right now

The Snake wants 6-1-0 or 5-0-2

He hasn't even totally grown into his body yet. Potential unicorn. It will be fun watching his progress.

For the tank crowd:

This game showed you what it takes to be a bottom-10 team in this league. The Flames aren't anywhere close to sucking enough. They really need to get serious and down their game if they hope to not compete.

(Scary fact: The Ducks are 24 points ahead of last place overall.)

They can still do it but will need a lot of help. If the Islanders beat them it could get pretty interesting.

They need one game of help and can do the rest themselves

Seems like it was a fun game, I caught most of the first only between flights.

Nice to see a Kylington sighting, love that man.

No ####...11th win in a row tonight.

It's just unreal bad luck for Flames for a team around them in the standings to go on a heater like that. There's no realistic way for the Flames to match that kind of run.

There's still a real chance at Minnesota, and so you have to keep fighting to see if you can beat them out. You're not done until mathematically eliminated, so you may as well win as many as you can down the stretch.

I'll echo others: Klapka, Coleman, Frost, Kadri all played really well tonight. Good play from Farabee, Sharangovich, Coronato, and Backlund as well (Backs is starting to look like his old self a little). Defense really held it together as a group.

My one gripe was the Huberdeau blind backhand pass to nobody that led to the Ducks only goal of the night. He does that at least once a game and this time it burned them.

Keep going Flames! We still...

Yeah, Minny is clearly the team they are chasing now because of that head to head next week. If NYI can beat them, Minny's next game is against Dallas who is flying as well right now.
