Woah. Totally off topic, but the title is absolutely insane after the week I just went through, so now I have to share it. Will try to make it long story short:
Just got back home literally 30 minutes ago from the airport. My mother, sister and I had to fly down to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last Monday on an emergency basis because my dad ended up in the ICU and on life support while vacationing by himself down there.
Doctors were absolutely shocked and amazed at how hard is body was fighting to stay alive despite having next-to-no-blood in it (hemoglobin was at a 3). I guess whereas his blood would be easy to find back here in Canada, 90%+ of Mexicans weren't a match for my dad. However, we were able to find 15-20 blood donors (tourists & locals) in 2 days just from the incredible outreach via Facebook posts.
Even though only 7-8 of them ended up being perfect matches, we got the blood my dad needed, the surgeons were able to perform a successful endoscopy to find & stop the bleeding, and they went from just trying to keep him alive while we got there, to giving us only a 20% hope, to 50/50 after the endoscope, and now my dad's back walking, talking and basically back to normal minus some delirium/confusion and a physically weak body. Got a med-vac back home to Calgary today after we were able to find a hospital room for him, and while he's not fully outta the woods yet, an absolute miracle took place over the last week.

Ahem.. about to break his goal scoring record? Perhaps the lack of talent surrounding him at the moment is a cause for his lack of assists.
Panthers also changed the way they play. Sutter has made mention of that when Huberdeau arrived. Huberdeau would have likely seen a large drop in points playing a more structured system in Florida. Now he has reinvented himself and is a solid complete player, who is on his way to breaking his own goal scoring record. Huberdeau is not the example I think you want to make here.

Yeah that puck was in, no doubt in my mind looking at it now.
3 50/50 calls all went against the Flames in the last 3 games that drastically altered the outcome of the games.
Also still not dead, 3-1-1 was what they needed in the lead up to head to head against the Wild. Just need to get points in the next 4 now.

And he isn't the same player, that was years ago. He is a 2nd liner on a good team at best.
I'm actually concerned about you, you're very hostile. Don't take it so seriously, hockey is watched for fun. At the end of the day we all want the same thing for the Flames.

It's a ####ing absolute joke that the NHL can,t come up with better cameras, camera angles than this garbage. It is 2025 FFS!!! The technology is out there. The Flames have been screwed this way by the NHL way more than any other team. Fix it Bettman you ####ing clown!!!

Huberdeau reinvented to include defensive responsibility in his game and has been above a point per game since November with much less to work with than in Florida.

I get it man, it's tough to admit a bias......in sports, politics, whatever. I've been biased against the Oilers for at least 40 years. I get it.

See, this is what is wrong with this message board. Person goes against popular opinion, he is unglued, he is crazy, you must follow the herd or you should be banned! So much internet bullying on here whenever someone has a differing view. CP used to be great, people had differing opinions back in the day and there was great discussion. Now it's just returned banned a-holes like Paulie and Rhett constantly bullying and stirring the pot. It's a fn shame what this place has become. The banned inmates are running the asylum.

Just calm down and take it easy man. We can all see the signs of when you start to blow up and go off the deep end which leads to a twice a year rage quit. Just take it easy, honestly. You're saying saying crazy stuff because you're upset and hate Huska. Let it go and post again tomorrow.

Its a huge part of the game, I know its easy to brush off but instilling a winning culture and a team that battles every night is worth more in the long run.
You're not going to ever convince professional athletes to just roll over and lose games.

What a gut-wrenching, horribly stressful experience for you and your family. Glad your dad beat incredible odds and is on the mend. Goes to show you just how strong the will to survive can be. Hopefully he will be back up to 100% soon without any lasting effects. This is definitely an awesome day today for you and your family. Cherish it!

Feel free to have the owner of the site check my IP, I am not a banned and returning poster.
I genuinely think you need help if you consider having a different opinion bullying. You go nuts whenever I post anything you disagree with.
And it isn't your posts, it's your attitude. I made a simple comment a few weeks back about how I think Wolf is carrying the Flames and you compared me to Trump. You're way too invested in this team and their success, you make some absurd comments on this site. And fight so many posters.

I feel like the season was lost in 5 games specifically.
Three in which they were swept by Utah (wtf guys), and the two days in St. Louis in Januay.
Even a middling result in those 5 games swings things pretty dramatically.
I supposed you could do this with a lot of different games. But I look to those two season series specifically.
