The Red Wings sure had a good third. It was a weird bounce for the third goal to make it 3-1. Watson scored it. That sunk Utah's energy for yhe rest of the game.

That was a big win for the Red Wings and the BJs. Detroit is now three points backnof the eighth place Habs. Columbus is two points back and the Islanders, along with the Rangers are one point behind. That is a dog pile.

Kind of wild to me no one else is eyeing the Wild as perhaps another team to catch.

4 points up on Blues right now. 8 points up on us. We have two games in hand.

They have a murders row this week. Lost 3-0 to Dallas tonight. Host Vegas tomorrow. Then Washington on Thursday. End the week with a home and home with Devils (who should be getting desperate, they’re not locked in).

Then start April with visits to NYR and NYI (also should be desperate) before finally an easy game vs Sharks and then us.

The April 11th game could suddenly become very interesting if we’ve managed to keep pace somewhat with the Blues.

Point percentage hypocrites that use it for and against, players and team stats, when convenient to their agenda to promote insecurity and stupidity.

Point percentage is actually the truer gauge, but standings are presented based on points as its more convenient, as teams will eventually play the same number of games.

Isles got robbed with a no-goal call at the end of the 3rd. They were pretty upset and had every right to be.

Terrible call. Merlikins initiated contact, and palmieri was outside the crease.

He’s probably getting a fine for saying the refs couldn’t wait to wave it off.

It's not only more convenient, but more certain. If you lose games, your point percentage goes down, but you do not lose points that you have already earned.

Magic numbers are easy to do with points, but quite hairy with point percentages, because you'd have to convert them back to points first.
